Norsk Akustisk Selskap (NAS) er en frivillig interesseorganisasjon for akustikere og akustikk-interesserte i Norge. Selskapets formål er å etablere kontakt mellom akustikere i Norge og gjennom sin deltakelse i Nordisk Akustisk Selskap, med akustikere i de nordiske land, samt med tilsvarende nasjonale og internasjonale organisasjoner. Selskapet arbeider for utvikling av den akustiske vitenskap og teknikk, og medvirker til å spre informasjon og kunnskaper på dette felt. Les mer.

Internoise 2005

Dear Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in the Inter-Noise 2005 Congress being held from 6 to 10 August, 2005 and which is sponsored by I-INCE and organised by the Brazilian Acoustical Society (SOBRAC) together with the Iberoamerican Federation of Acoustics (FIA). The Congress venue will be at the SOFITEL Hotel on the beautiful Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The main theme of the Congress is ENVIRONMENTAL NOISE CONTROL, but technical papers in all areas of noise and vibration control are very welcome. Congress participants and accompanying persons will have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of social, cultural and sightseeing activities organised during and after the congress.

A number of structured sessions and distinguished lectures are in preparation. See the Congress home page http://www.internoise2005.org.br The congress will be the most prestigious noise control event of the year 2005. This may be your first visit to South America but we doubt it will be your last.

At this Inter-Noise 2005 Congress, you will not only exchange information with all your international colleagues, but you will also be able to explore the rich market for noise and vibration control engineering in South America.

Brazil has many industrial products such as passenger jet airplays manufactured by EMBRAER and the largest automotive assembly plants in the world representing all the major brands worldwide. And these are but two of the many categories of South American products for which noise and vibration technology plays a very important role regarding comfort and quality.

Other categories include hydroelectric power stations (numerous), food industries, domestic appliance manufacturers, construction companies, and many others.

Inter-Noise 2005 will give you the opportunity to view and make contact with these emerging new markets on this large continent. We expect a very rich exhibition of worldwide noise and vibration equipment, software, and materials for noise and vibration control. Pre-congress courses and distinguished speakers will provide information on up-to-date technologies in the field. We therefore welcome you to Inter-Noise 2005, where you will have a fruitful and enjoyable time in beautiful, tropical Brazil. The deadline for the receipt of the abstracts is January 30, 2005.

Final manuscripts must be submitted in PDF format by April 30, 2005.

All registrants for Inter-Noise 2005 will receive a printed booklet containing all abstracts, the final technical program, and a CD that will include all papers.

Høring av forslag til to samleforskrifter på forurensningsområdet om produkter og forurensning

Del 4, Kapittel 18 "Grenseverdier for støy" og Kap 19 "Forbud mot bruk av fritidsfartøy uten effektiv lyddempning i eksossystemet" er relevante. Det er sidene 241-245, les her.

Det er også generelt om miljøaspekter deriblant /støy/vibrasjon under Vedlegg I (side 74) Kap 11 (side 80, 83), Vedlegg III (side 88), Del 9 (Side 345), side 363, Vedlegg VI, side 392 og utover.

Støybelastningen fra norske veier skal ikke reduseres

Et beskjedent mål for norsk miljøpolitikk måtte være at forurensningen ikke skal øke utover det nivået vi har i dag. For å sikre dette kan man i ved alle nyanlegg gjennomføre konsekvensutredninger, der man får fastlagt i hvilken grad den planlagte aktiviteten vil medføre en negativ belastning på miljøet.
